MP4 Plays At 24p (Correct Frame Rate) MKV Do Not And Sound Sync Issue

As per the title, if I make a file of the same BD main feature the MKV file will typically play at 1080/60 but if I go for the MP4 output it gets it right and they play at 1080/24

The MP4 versions of the same film seem to have have more of a sound sync issue.

So to sum up MP4, correct frame rate but sound out of sync (5.1 sound)
MKV, wrong frame rate but sound in sync (5.1 sound)

Which film from which region?

Did you send in logfiles so the developers can check it?

What software are you using to play it back?

If you drop the files into Mediainfo what frame-rate does it think the files are?

For example the Blu-Ray of Gold with Roger Moore (UK release)

Playing on my Minix Neo X8-H Plus or WD TV Live linked to my LG TV (all devices are set to auto 24p and work with other files made with other products and with BD's)

This file plays at 1080p 60Hz

If I use CloneBD to make a mp4 it will play at 24p but is jerky and thus I deleted that version.

I guess I should also mention that chapter information does not seem to work either in the generated files :(

I don't have that film, but with others I've tested they all play at 23.97 on my TV for both MP4 and MKV, and as you can see Mediainfo sees it as being encoded at 24fps.

As to the chapters that has already been reported for MKV's, and I'm pretty sure MP4 doesn't support chapter info anyway.

Are you on the latest firmware for the Minix as there were issues with earlier firmwares and some files at 23.97/24

My WD TV Live is on the latest firmware and the Minix has XBMC 13.3 Beta 8 which has there latest frame-rate switching module.

I will make some shorter clips of films to see how well they work using mp4 and mkv
