Happy New Year, y'all!
Just wanted to get my head straight on this.
Say you have a recent release on BluRay that we want to convert to MKV for those of us with a NAS in an HT system.
Presuming the software correctly identifies the disc and 'rips' (extracts) it to an MKV with whatever other subtitles/languages we need, does the 'unlocking' conversion to MKV persist? Will that 'unlocking' carry through if we later wanted to transcode and burn to a disc should I want to make it 'transportable' to a BluRay player somewhere else? What about the intrusive 'BD Live' stuff... is that part of the overall menu system, or will it be stripped out as we extract to an MKV?
Thanks in advance... now, back to my movie and libation marathon!
