found a fix

I managed to cobble together a mencoder argument on the dos command line. It seems i was missing "pthreadgc2.dll" (huh?). I found a copy in my common files path and placed it in the same directory that clonedvdmobile houses mencoder.exe.

it appears to be working....

could slysoft dev comment on what this does and why i need it?

my machine is xp sp2 with all updates, running an amd 64 fx55.

thanks
ef

That shouldn't be possible. I just checked to make sure that the mencoder version in the release is not compiled to include pthreads.
The only significant occurrence of the word "pthread" in the binary is "not compiled with pthread support".

So if yours requires that dll, you must have a different mencoder than I have. Can you please tell me the exact size (in bytes)?

from the properties page under windows explorer....

11,429,376 bytes
