Hi, i just wondered whether anydvd or anydvd HD would work with my notebook dvd drive: MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-861H ATA Device. I have heard that there have been problems with matshita drives but not all. Basically, I want to buy a region 1 dvd and my dvd drive is currently set to region 2. I do not want to have to use up any of my 3 (i think?) chances to change my region and I am not sure how to go about resetting firmware etc. So will anydvd or anydvd HD allow me to play a region 1 dvd in my above mentioned drive? thanks
