I've been using AnyDVD and CloneDVD for a few years now and they have been without a doubt, the BEST applications out there to backup DVD's -- hands down.
There are a couple of things that I would personally like to see added to the CloneDVD application to smooth out the backup process even more so.
I searched this forum and already found a few posts with feature requests here, here, here, here, and here.
I'm hoping that this thread will be used to combine all feature requests for CloneDVD (and perhaps be made into a sticky).
That said, here are the two things I'd like to see in a future release:
1) A check box that copies the VOLUME NAME over to the ISO file name. I always rip to ISO files and then burn them later. I usually copy the text in the VOLUME NAME file and then paste it into the ISO name field by hand. It's a minor nuisance but it should be easy to add this option. Here's a mock-up.
2) Add a check box that ejects the disc after a successful rip. I don't always here the "finished" chime and can't always see my PC's screen (as it's hooked-up to a TV and I'm often switched over to DirecTV or my PS3. Here's another mock-up.
Thoughts?
