I was started to believe there was no solution even before I read your post.
I really like that program and have downloaded so many times with no problems. Thanks for your input, Waxman. Hope it doesn't get too big.
Well, I think there is a solution but I don't think I can talk about it here, might get in trouble and get kicked or banned. I can't remember the thread but it's out there and talks a bunch about this same issue with no real help, from what I can tell. From what I can see when you do an uninstall of AnyDvd, it doesn't do a true and total clean uninstall, leaves some behind so you can't just uninstall the trial and then reinstall every 21 days, makes sense. But if someone gets a horked install, you have no recourse to fix it because it sees that is has been on the system before and and won't do a true clean install. I have been all through the registry and can't find where they hide the hooks to show it has been installed on the system, once again makes sense on Slysoft's part. But there needs to be something that can be done to help people that have a bad install with out doing a format. Try a Google and see what you can find, remember I can't say too much. Hope this helps in some way.
