Macrovision VHS

I have one that I know for sure and was wondering that if I was to record that to another VHS then use the recorded version would it still have macrovision?

vcr to vcr will not work if the vhs has macrovision.
you need a macrovision remover (aka video stabliser) in the middle of the chain.

Forget video stabalizers cuz, they remove MV and Closed Captions as well but this one does not:

Also charlie, I discovered something awesome: lets say you copy a DVD to VHS guess what? That removes CGMS there for you can transfer VHS to DVD but, at least you can copy the DVD. Here is my best Idea yet, did you know that if you update your firmware w/hacked firmware on the LITEON DVD Recorder model 5005 you can copy anything!!?? I'm serious. it works! but, you need the 5005 model it will not work on these new models of LITEON Dvd recorders.
