Losing Connection from XBox Drive....any help?

Well it seems that everytime I try to use the AnyDVD HD-DVD version to copy a disc to my drive, after about half way it keeps crashing because it loses the connection with the drive.

When I check explorer it still shows the drive there with the disc.

If it means anything, the same thing happens when I try to do a straight copy from HD-DVD to HD with explorer.

Anyone have any ideas?
