Looking for an external blueray drive - no burner

Hi there,

I'm looking for an external Blueray drive to play Bluerays and to make rips/backups with AnyDVD.
No burning is needed.
Which drive would be a good one?

Imo, you can never go wrong with LG drives. There's a reason I put 3 of them in my systems ;-)

Search for NST 530S3-BK Vantec makes this external usb enclosure, just add the optical drive of your choice. I also recommend LG drives.

Why would he need to buy an external enclosure and insert an internal drive, when LG makes external drives just the same. That's a waste of money.
