I ripped Michael Clayton and American Gangster to my hd using CloneDVD 2915 as my ripper, AnyDVD 6315 running in the background. I than ran the output through Nero Recode as personal preference.
No problems at all. American Gangster is around ~60% though (another reason to use Recode). Picture looks good on a 32"TV...

American Gangster....backed up fine..though I had some initial trouble a few weeks back because I set out to change the playback arrangement...as always.....I got it right though....I haven't had any trouble with any of the new releases lately......uhh Chaos & Michael Clayton had no special encryption. I've purchase a few new flicks today "Things We Lost In The Fire" & "Awake". I have'nt had the chance to back them up yet...I'm just getting around to watching 02/26/08 releases.:agree:

I want to check the forums before I attempt to copy.
Can I use Shrink and Nero straight up or do I need to Rip using AnyDVD?
I used Shrink on those three movies with no problems.

I had no problem backing up Michael Clayton with Any DVD 6.3.1.5. and DVD Shrink. I also ripped to HD with Any DVD Ripper as a test. I found an odd file in the Directory; title.txtdt in right clicking drive and then ''Explore''. It had the ''unknown'' icon.
I do not find much info on this in a search, seems to be a Warner Bros. thing? It did not seem to cause any undesired effects...that I KNOW of! No alerts or errors showed. I was half expecting this title to give me a problem as We Own the Night did. Thankfully it did not.
