List of UHDs currently UN-supported in AnyDVD

Godzilla - King of the monsters (Italy) supported. Sorry for my delaying.

Thanks, Teddy.

@flashmt also reports that this title is now supported...

A Wrinkle In Time (Amazon US) - OPD: BD_1c9fc2dd306a

... he's waited a very long time for support for this title (222 days on the list), so I'm happy for him.

The new 007 Daniel Craig Collection is not supported yet. I'm currently ripping them so I haven't had time to make logs yet but if I get a chance I'll post the OPD for them later.

Ok.

I hope to get Quantum of Solace, Spectre, and Casino Royale some time this month.

Hehe.

Actually, I don't even remember Skyfall. But it's deleted from my collection with a note that says "Bond bomb!"

Ouch. Guess I didn't like it.

Oh sure I just deleted the toy story 4 iso figuring it was working by now. I'll check the disc when I get up.

I'm confused, it happens more often as I get older. Without revealing the magic that happens behind the curtain, wouldn't it be simpler to list which disks the Red Fox Team has made AnyDVD for UHD work with than to try and maintain an obviously very difficult , and ever changing list of those disks it doesn't work with? I don't pretend to understand the steps Red Fox has to go through to get a new release compatible for us to be able to back it up. If it's a task for every new disk that is released, Bravo, you're superhuman! If it is a new process for groups of disks, wow you must be forced to reinvent the new wheel daily, again Bravo. If it is the former, wouldn't it be more expedient, for UHD's, just to release a list of specific disk versions of the movie titles as you release upgrades to AnyDVD, an addendum text file? I can't watch the UHD's I buy until I decrypt them and make an MKV. My HTC doesn't jump thru all the KabyLake hoops. But the movies play just fine once AnyDVD and Clone BD do their magic. I appreciate what you do, and I hope this post isn't out of line.

It's not Redfox maintaining this list. This list isn't to show what AnyDVD can support. It's here to prevent the 5 billion "my disc doesn't work" posts. People can come here and see if their disc is on the list and then know they don't have to report it. It's to help Redfox keep the forum from being cluttered up with "disc not supported" posts. That's ALL it's for. As for how Redfox adds new titles to the OPD, we don't know.

Hi Laserfisher.

Yeah, this list is by AnyDVD UHD users and for AnyDVD UHD users.

It originally started as an off-shoot of another thread where there was an attempt to list UHD titles that AnyDVD does support.

But that number got large rather quickly, so this thread was setup as an UN-supported list (mentioned in post #1 where the list is).

The thread has been averaging around 30 or so titles so has been manageable (in terms of size) so far.

Also, note that AnyDVD upgrades have nothing to do with when UHD discs are supported.

A UHD disc can have keys added to the OPD and decrypt at any time.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

All --

Working on a project and am pressed for time tonight.

Will post all list changes tomorrow.
