Wow, that's some good timing. @testiles is going to be thrilled to be able to test this scenario. Not speaking for him, but I suspect he'll be PM'ing you about this. Keep those discs handy. :)

No, I absolutely am not thrilled by this and probably you shouldn't be either SamuriHL.

cha93's titles are currently in the Unknown Status section of the List.

There is no reason a Scanner report shouldn't generate.


So, either the wrong titles are being Scanned, or something is wrong with the Scanner.

Well, you better hope it's not a bug in the scanner, as I mentioned before, I won't have time until next month sometime to look at any more scanner problems. I'll let you figure out what's wrong.

Unfortunately not up to me.


I'll work with Cha93 in pm to see if there's something he's doing wrong there.


The only 3 possibilities I can think of are he's Scanning the wrong discs, he's generating bogus OPD's either when he submitted or this time around, or something is off in the Scanner.

Ingmar,

Unlike in the very early days of the List, when you first started posting here, a Scanner report is now required for all List changes --- whether adding a title, updating its Status or reporting it supported.

I've mentioned this to you before.


As far as announcing support goes, the report is needed for two reasons.

One, it confirms directly from AnyDVD that that OPD is now supported by it.

Secondly, a program uses the report to update the record for that OPD and automatically remove it from the List.


So, appreciate you saying this title works for you -- especially since you didn't post it -- but it does absolutely no good unless accompanied by a Scanner report to make it official.


Please run your Maverick through the Scanner and paste the report here to remove it.
