No worries. The Scan report reader is pretty dynamic and will pick out what it needs and ignore anything else.


So, the only update that kicked out was Species, which @rdodolak reported supported yesterday (post 7176).


I'm glad you pointed out this was run yesterday because that title wasn't on the List today, so had the Scanner run today, it wouldn't have even reported on it!

So strange!!

Because that must have been the case at the time of the first report.

But anyway glad to know it really is supported...


In a similar vein someone sent me a Scanner update yesterday and said "sadly their title was still not supported".

Yet the report itself said "Now supported"!

I asked them about that and a few hours later they said it was working now.

But seemed to indicate it wasn't when the report was made...


Series of coincidental mistakes or signs of some issue emerging?

I hope the former...

In general, editing an old post like this will never be noticed.


But, even more importantly, you'll need to submit a new Scanner report to confirm your title is supported and automatically remove it from the List.

I added that warning because of a couple instances where that driver has caused problems with anydvd functioning properly. It doesn't necessarily automatically mean the report is bad but the warning is there to bring attention to it and give clues as to what could be wrong if there's a problem.

As I think on it, I remember you saying to James you would add a check for DeUHD at some point, but that was it.

Every single post from people using 1.0.8.5 is a clue to go look at the release notes in the 3rd page. I tend to point it out when there's a required change but if it's an optional release, well it's optional. But the fact that people have been posting reports with 1.0.8.5 since it was released on the 10th and that I put the version in those reports for that very reason should be enough to "direct attention" to the fact that there's a new version.
