The US Jumanji 1995 not working surprises me, too. I got the Canadian Amazon version when it came out, and mine works fine: JUMANJI_1995 -- OPD: BD_c3847df1807d. I wouldn't have thought there would be more than one version back then.

Hi Michael.

I can believe there was more than one version but a US version not working for this long seems very unusual.

Especially now that you confirm the Canadian version works fine.

Has it been working since it came out back in 2017?

I was incorrect when I stated I got it when it came out. I see on Amazon.ca that it came out December 5th, 2017. (I think when I pre-ordered the NEW Jumanji sequel I also ordered the 1995 original on UHD.)

I received the Canadian Jumanji UHD on February 1st, 2018, and my ISO is time-stamped the same day. So I was able to make my backup the day I got it, about 9 weeks after release.

Ok.

Maybe there was a re-issue of the US version when the sequel came out in February and that's what @kitaT has.

That would seem to be more likely.


BTW, how was Glass?

I'm contemplating getting the Blu-Ray, even though I wasn't crazy about the two movies that are its prequels...

Doesnt matter too much but these are ones that came from steelbooks at best buy (US) for me

Ok.

Yeah, these OPD ID versions are not limited to one vendor and could really come from anywhere.

The list just documents where the submitter purchased it, if they give that information.


You're discs still don't decrypt, right?
