License issue after update to 8.5.0.0

I just updated from 8.4.2.0 to 8.5.0.0 and now I get the "This version is not licensed. Please install a valid license key." dialog when starting AnyDVD. 8.5.2.0 recognized my license before the update. I have a lifetime license purchased from RedFox in 2016.

I poked around the forum but didn't see any resolution except to contact support. Is that still the right thing to do?
 
Yep, as other than @Ivan or @Jill "normal" forum staff have no access to the customer/licensing info (well maybe Pete too, if he wanted too?). So yes, a support ticket is the only way to go.
