Tried that the first time it happened, this time I turned it completely off for a few minutes and have the same result. On starting up SDFtool Flasher I get to following error (I also tried to ilder version with exactly the same relult

It's crashing trying to check the makemkv installation. So, again, make SURE you have the latest MakeMKV installed. It WILL NOT work without it.
 
OK now it sees the drive, but when I start flashing the firmware it throws an error code. Pic attached. I'll try rebooting and rerunning it
 
I have the latest MakeMKV and it seems to be working. Could the firmware file be corrupt? Any other firmware suggestions to make this drive ripper friendly

Flash to the 1.03 MK version of the firmware first. Then you can downgrade. What's on there is encrypted which is why I told you to use the SDFtool flasher. But you have to flash the same version of the firmware that's on there first with an MK firmware to free the drive, then you can go to whatever you want.
