Lg Ggw-h20l Region Help

I recently installed a LG GGW-H20L(Frys $399) instead of my Xbox HD DVD Add-On. Being new to the Blu-Ray side, my question is, do I need to set the region code in the drive itself to play Blu-Ray direct from the disk without using AnyDVD?

Short answer: No.

Region coding for Bluray is handled by the player software, not the optical drive.

I'm interested in your experience with that LG drive as I've just ordered one myself.
 
I've had mine for a few weeks now and am very very happy with it.
