I use the newesest version of AnyDVD, 8.4.8.0

Is there a solution?

That's because the BU40N isn't an uhd friendly drive. You need the 30N

I KNOW I'm not. Just Google it. Just because the drive can PLAY them, doesn't mean it's fine for ripping. That drive has a matching UHD AACS 2.0 host certificate and is an official uhd drive. Anydvd only works with 'uhd friendly' models.

Okay, which model would you recommend? Should be external.
I said that earlier. Pretty sure the BU30N is (but it might need a specific firmware version). Google (or even this forum) should be able to tell you more if you just search uhd friendly drive or something.

I don't do uhd.
