It does give you a warning and becuase of that its not a gaurentee that it will work but it does on some movies and doesnt on others thats why the warning is there.

To save a lot of wear and tear on your drive and DVD RW disks, alternatly you could select DVD Files as your output method, preview your backup with a pc player, then use Write existing data to burn to your + or - media. (assuming you are using CloneDVD, if not, like procedure is available with other programs.)
