John Wick 4 ripped but it reported corrupted data. Is it not working yet or do these errors not affect playback?

Have you tried to play the original on your PC/laptop?

And if so, with what software? PowerDVD/VLC/MPC-HC/JRiver?

Please give out more details, including how you tested the movie, whether you just ripped the main movie without any extras, that sort of thing.

I was hoping the log file I attached from CloneBD could be interpreted to explain what / where the problem is. I also assumed this was a known issue: it wasn't clear in the AnyDVD HD forum if JW4 was fully supported currently.

I ripped the main feature and bonus features (AnyDVD HD and CloneBD). I'm now re-rippping just the main feature to see if I get errors. I haven't tried the disc in a standalone player. I haven't watched JW4 yet so I haven't tried to watch it to find errors.

Extracting only the Main Feature, and errors are reported.

Cleaned disc and tried again, still generating errors.

I tried in a standalone disc player and it played, and I could skip through the first several chapters without problem. (I didn't watch closely, but it didn't fail or crash or freeze.)

MakeMKV gives this error trying to read the disc:

Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00283.m2ts' at offset '1437696'

So this might be a bad disc. I'm going to see if I can get a replacement.

I replaced the disc as defective. This disc completely fails with these errors:

WARNING: read error at sector 16275647

WARNING: read error at sector 16309152

Sorry that your disc was bad. I sincerely hope that your replacement is much better for you.

New disc failed even worse in CloneBD, with complete failure and not just errors.

So I then ripped as an ISO with AnyDVD. Then used CloneBD to extract the main features and special features. And that two step process worked and didn't give any errors.

I don't understand, and I wish I hadn't had to waste so much time on this: Normally CloneBD works without having to rip to ISO first. But, ok, I guess it's all good now.
🤷‍♂️:)
