ISO vs BLU RAY ISO

I have a network media player that plays iso files. However, it will not launch the BLU RAY ISO file. Can anyone explan why?

there can be several reasons. maybe your player doesn't recognize udf 2.5. or it could be it just can't play blu-rays at all.
