Is UHD worth the trouble?

Just an update I broke down and bought a Samsung QN55Q75FM and a Oppo udp 203. I'm pretty happy with it. The Oppo is great but the Samsung was a impulsive buy at Costco. I have 90 days to return it so that gives me piece of mind. Not sure if I should worry that much about DV. They also sell the LG OLED sets.

UHD movies are better, the Oppo bdp 105d up converts 1080p nicely and it looks a little better than my old plasma.
