Is it possible or has anyone tried burning an image of a HDDVDROM film a then
burning to Blu-ray??
A quick glance through the Frequently Asked Questions would have answer this one for you.
I think he doesn't want to convert HD-DVD into Bluray file structure. What he wants to do is to burn the HD-DVD image 1:1 on a BD-RE disc. Would be indeed interesting what happens. Does the player recognize it as a HD-DVD?
If you burn an HD DVD to Blu-ray, it will play back on a PC, but not on a stand alone as they don't recognise the file structure
it might play on a combo standalone player to but other then that Adbear is right it wont play anywhere else
would it play on a hd dvd stand alone player?
no it would not thats why your best bet is something with both hddvd and bluray because there 2 different formats and the bluray player alone cant read it
Even writing it back to an HD DVD-r won't play back on a standalone HD DVD player
