i need to burn a clonecd image in linux. has extension .dvd and followed by an .iso

burning the iso without pointing to the dvd file didn't result in a working burn.

not sure what the dvd contains but i'm really anxious to get it burning under linux (Ubuntu).

    thank you

There is no support for CloneCD in LInux at this moment.8)

if it is definitely a clonecd image, then these programs can read it and/or convert to iso or various other formats:

    http://cdemu.sourceforge.net/ (my personal favourite)

    http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/ccd2iso-13929.shtml (not tried this)

http://www.acetoneteam.org/central.html (don't like how this installs but it has a gui)

note that these aren't "clonecd for linux", they are image converters basically.

edit: you do know how to burn an iso image in linux don't you (k3b, nerolinux, nautilus etc) or mount it using loopback, i'm assuming in the above that you know its a clonecd image and not a compliant iso9660/udf file, or you tried to burn the iso but it doesn't work.....

I find the whole "I'm not sure what the image contains" comment to be...interesting. If you made the image, wouldn't you know what was on it? And if you didn't make the image, are you sure you have the rights to the contents of that image? Just saying...
