https://www.redfox.bz/download/ down?

Works fine here. As i've said a few times now acros multiple topics like this (search will help), this is likely due to the malware issue that existed around the 8130 release. DISABLE your AV for a moment, try to reconnect, site loads > your AV is blocking connection and tell them to unblock the domain

Just tried to reach www.redfox.bz from my ipad. It doesn't work. So my issue is not related to my PC or the antivirus running on it.
Will continue to figure this out.

Works fine on my end. The issue could be a DNS resolution issue, routing issue, etc. You didn't specify what occurred. Was the connection timed out, did you receive a HTTP status code (ie 400, 404, etc)? At this point there's no way of knowing.

EDIT: Based upon your other post (https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/https-www-redfox-bz-download-down.72829/#post-467777) it appears to be a routing issue leading to it timing out.

Yes, it seems to be a routing issue somewhere in NL.
I tried with my iphone through a 3G connection and it works. Then using my iphone as a hotspot, I can connect to www.redfox.bz from my PC.

Code:
ping www.redfox.bz

Envoi d’une requête 'ping' sur www.redfox.bz [93.170.13.21] avec 32 octets de données :
Délai d’attente de la demande dépassé.
Délai d’attente de la demande dépassé.
Délai d’attente de la demande dépassé.
Délai d’attente de la demande dépassé.

Statistiques Ping pour 93.170.13.21:
    Paquets : envoyés = 4, reçus = 0, perdus = 4 (perte 100%)
Code:
tracert www.redfox.bz

The traffic is blocked from the Netherlands... So my ISP is not responsible.

Your DNS ist resolving to 93.170.13.21 which is WRONG! (you are still affected by DNS hijacking a few days ago and your PC/router/DNS server has still cached the wrong DNS).

Correct DNS of www.redfox.bz and redfox.bz is 93.190.142.127 (or IPv6 2a00:7c80:0:71::8)

Please try https://93.190.142.127 (which redirects to https://redfox.bz, which gives you hopefully the correct website)

If this doesn't help, change DNS server of your router or PC temporarily to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (both Google DNS) and flush your local Windows DNS cache:
Code:
ipconfig /flushdns

Thank you very much Ivan :)
I've changed my DNS servers and everything works now

Now that that works, set them back and see if it does now with your usual settings

Nice catch. I should have noticed that but got the good and bad IPs jumbled.

Edit: I prefer OpenDNS but using Google's servers is still a better option than not. Either is a good choice!

Edit 2: I regularly do a flush of my DNS cache and it's become second nature.

That page is restricted requiring both a username & password.
As both are not known, it will result in a 401 Authoization Required message.
From my end, yes, just using the IP number directly returns a non-working result. Resolved name using a safe/valid DNS server works fine.

Right now using the IP number:

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 93.190.142.127 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

That's using HTTPS and this did not happen yesterday or prior to this posting right now this morning.

NOTE: Using OpenDNS public DNS servers.

EDIT: Obviously, you might be making changes to the server setup, etc, as I am reporting this. :)

Also under more detailed info:

This server could not prove that it is 93.190.142.127; its security certificate is from nl.redfox.bz. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

probably a misconfiguration. The "Let's Encrypt" certificates are sha256 afaik and not that easy to intercept

I wasn't really worried but this just started occurring and only when using the IP number rather than name.

Just found it curious.

thats likely because certificates are linked to domains and not IP numbers. If they were linked to IP's every domain on the same shared IP server could be using that same certificate, imagine the consequences if even only 1 domain was using it to claim a trusted image when it was doing nothing but phishing

Indeed.

For information
I download 8.1.4.0 with my smartphone, i transfer on my PC and I execute the installer... and during installation, Edge browser opened on download page, i don't know why, i don't remember that during previous installation an internet browser open on dowload redfox page! And now I can finally open https://www.redfox.bz/download as many times as I wish.

Edit:Maybe it's a coincidence, I had not re-tested the page before installation. Only 2 or 3 days ago.
