How's this stuff work?

1. Go into windows task manager. Shutdown Clonedvd. Reboot. Clonedvd is basically hanging at the moment..

Finally stopped as I just stated

.
2. Again, click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=10715 and follow the steps. There's no need to be ripping first using Anydvd if you use Clonedvd..

.
Ensure that you have enough blank space on your hard drive.
more than 15gigs of open hard drive available + a 300 G external hard drive.

OK, shutting down computer and starting over will disconnect external hard drive.

Reboot and stated again, got to clone and believe it is rockin 'n' rollin now. I'm using the first of the three offered programs instead of the one in the middle. Much faster at ripping the movie. Fingers crossed. Also copying at 72% instead of 47... am using lap top to communicate and the PC to copy.

OK! It's now starting to write the film to my hard drive! Thanks so much for all your help. Looks like a good program to use.

 I thought you wanted to burn a backup?

Anyway, I'm glad it's working for you.

We must be on the wrong page with our verbs. It's now burning me a new copy of the DVD. Once I got on the right program it worked very quickly. Thanks again.
