So this is the first time seeing this, since I guess the other services don't offer it. But with HM I'm seeing 258 kbps DD+ 6 CH and 386 kbps AC3 6 CH.
Now I know higher kbps typically means better audio quality. But since I don't know much about Eac3 or DD+ (I know they are basically the same thing), would the lower kbps for DD+ be a better audio that the higher kbps for AC3?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, just want to try to grab the better audio. And yes, I do have 5.1 surround at home with a receiver and actual surround sound speakers.
Edit: and to add to that, now there is much higher resolutions. I don't even know what some of these are: 2560x1440, 3200x1800, 3840x2160 (which I this one is 4K).
So much for hard drive space!
