Discs 1 - 7 are the same as far as protection is concerned.

Whole disc backup worked fine with AnyDVD 6.1.7.0 and DVDShrink, I have only backed up disc 1 so far. I don't expect any problems with the rest.

Giljorak-Did you use Smooth or Max Smooth? How did your backup come out looking? I backed up Disc 1 Smooth, with Deep Anylasis looks great.
 
Same here with Heroes with all 7. I've often thought about using Shrink again but never tested to see if the deeper analysis made that much difference as compared to CloneDVD. If I recall it did with TV series stuff more than anything.
 
I used smooth w/ deep analysis. The first disc looks great.
