Hello,

I'm trying to capture some short video clips from a DVD to put into a powerpoint presentation. I got the trial version of AnyDVD and CloneDVD and now I don't know what to do.

Can someone please help me?

Clonedvd can cut chapters only. So you can't achieve what you want using Clonedvd alone. I will move your thread to the third party application section.

AnyDVD along with VideoReDo Plus should do the trick.

Edit: Of course you will still need software to convert the resulting files into a format for use in your PowerPoint presentation but you would have needed that regardless.
