Help: Backing up PC games

While trying to back up a few games, by making image files usable for the virtual clone drive, such as Fable or The Sims 2, clone cd was unable to read certain sectors of the disk therefore making it impossible to get all of the data. is it possible to get an update to prevent this.

p.s- i have gotten the image files to work for 1 game, diablo. But im assuming it worked because the game is old
