SOLVED!
Movie = Hell Or High Water
Ripped (protected) to .iso, mounted with VCD, CloneBD used to make .mkv file directly.
Resulting movie has a green bar at the top of the flat panel I'm watching it on. I used to see this problem with Handbrake, but changing HB to loose anamorphic, modulus 16 cured it.
Not sure what in CloneBD is doing this, but it doesn't do it to all renderings.
