GJ Loads but will not open

Running Windows XP Pro. Game Jackal was working with little or no problems. I update and now Game Jackal Loads with windows, but i can not open the window to get to the profile with my games. Don't know what happened. I tried reloading and same effects. Don't really want to remove because it took me almost 6 - 7 hours to get current profile built.

Running Gamejackal Pro 2.9.18.570
All cd writing software unloaded.
Intel 2.4 ghz Processor
1 Gig Ram
Running Windows Live One Care, but all slysoft software have permission thru firewall.

Can some Please help?

Does the icon appear in the system tray? Also, does anything happen when you double-click the GJ desktop icon? (the interface should open)
