Would it be possible to add support for the full resolution (480x272) support offered by Dark Alex's custom firmware 3.03 OE (http://pspupdates.qj.net/Dark-AleX-s-3-03-OE-C-Released-/pg/49/aid/80540)?
The custom firmware modifies the builtin Sony video player to remove the resolution restrictions and can play videos encoded at 480x272, with no limit on bit rate, in mp4 and avc.
I currently use Xvid4PSP from http://www.winnydows.com, but still go back to clonedvd for it's simplicity and that it just plain works. It would be nice if it supported the full res encoding too.
