Is there a consistent way of recognising which audio/subtitle track can be selected to include forced subtitles without the converted output either adding the audio descriptive file or permanently including all speech subtitles?
An example is converting the film ‘Fury’ to mp4 container. Selecting English AC3 multichannel and selecting English subtitles 1 or 2 results in the audio descriptive being included.
Selecting English DTS-HD multichannel has a more random effect. In playback (CloneBD player) with either English subtitles 1 or 2 will on occasions show the forced subtitles but when switching between one and the other forced subtitles will be replaced by all speech subtitles and not return to forced subtitles only.
In the highlight bar of a subtitles selection, clicking on the right hand end will bring up a small graphic which looks like lines on a page. Trying this within alternative selections also seems to have random effects in the CloneBD player and the resulting output.
An explanation on the selection audio/subtitle process plus what the small graphic is indicating will be extremely helpful.
