Frage an die Spezialisten: Wenn ich eine 4TB ext Festplatte aus dem Gehäuse nehme und die so
Formatiere, das sie im Computer-Steckplatz funktioniert......
(übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist so noch höher .. außerdem hab ich über USB3 ab und zu auch
Fehlermeldung)
......würde diese Festplatte wenn sie beschrieben, und wieder ins Gehäuse eingebaut ist anstandslos laufen
oder ist sie dann vermurkst.

You can remove a HDD from an external enclosure just fine, i've done it myself before. ZERO risk, in 3.5" external drives what do you think is inside them? ;) Yup, a standard desktop drive. If there's any issues with a drive and writing / connection problems, usually the first thing to blaim is the controller used in the enclosure. If you mount it in your case you'll even get better speeds. At peak peak performance USB 3 has a max write rate of 5Gbps, while SATA III has a max rate of 6Gbps. Please note those are theoretical speeds and can be affected by a number of causes.
 
Es kommt auf den controller an.
Hatte das bei mir mit einer WD Platte versucht.
Nachdem rückeinbau ins externe Gehäuse musste diese wieder formatiert werden.
Also am besten ausprobieren mit nicht zu vielen Daten draufgeschrieben.
 
No, when you turn the external drive into an internal one you DO NOT have to reformat the drive. It is immediately usable and all previously existing data will still be on it. You don't have to format unless you want to.

Die externe Festplatte ist ein MBR-Datenträger, damit man sie Intern (also mit Wechselrahmen) nutzen kann, muss
man einen GPR-Datenträger daraus Zaubern.
Zurück im Festplattengehäuse, wird die Externe dann im Explorer nicht mehr erkannt,...
Pech gehabt !!!
(bis 2TB kann man noch ohne Probleme wechseln)
