Would be awesome if AnyStream would show video bitrate in the resolution combo box. Don't know if it's also possible for Amazon or other services, but should be doable for Netflix.
It is doable for both of them, however, AnyStream is configured to select highest bitrate for a given resolution, so I doubt there would be any good in adding to the resolution combo.
I still find it a useful info, especially when the download limit was introduced. Today I ended up downloading 850kbps 720p, which obviously had a terrible quality - i wouldn't download it, if I would see the bitrate before dl.
I go for WiseMan request, even if the app select the highest bitrate it can take, it would be great to have just the information of the bitrate so we can imagine how good or bad will be the files once it's downloaded.
Hi @Prospere i wanted to start by saying that I think the tool is very good i have a question, regarding the maximum quality that the tool can download i downloaded the Netflix title 81277950 but what the tool manages to download is hpl40 with 2 509 kbps, you can see it in the mediainfo at the end of this message but with another tool that I have I could download up to mpl40 with 5360 kbps i also leave the information here below. The question is more than anything, is it temporary? Or is it done that way intentionally? 2020-10-02 03:06:59,952 - INFO - wvdownloader - getting track and widevine init data 2020-10-02 03:07:03,713 - INFO - client - found 17 video tracks 2020-10-02 03:07:03,714 - INFO - client - 0 - Bitrate: 100 Profile: h264mpl30-dash Size: 0.09 Gb Width: 426 Height: 240 VMAF: 35 2020-10-02 03:07:03,715 - INFO - client - 1 - Bitrate: 100 Profile: h264hpl30-dash Size: 0.09 Gb Width: 768 Height: 432 VMAF: 51 2020-10-02 03:07:03,715 - INFO - client - 2 - Bitrate: 180 Profile: h264mpl30-dash Size: 0.16 Gb Width: 426 Height: 240 VMAF: 43 2020-10-02 03:07:03,715 - INFO - client - 3 - Bitrate: 202 Profile: h264hpl30-dash Size: 0.18 Gb Width: 768 Height: 432 VMAF: 67 2020-10-02 03:07:03,716 - INFO - client - 4 - Bitrate: 240 Profile: h264mpl30-dash Size: 0.21 Gb Width: 512 Height: 288 VMAF: 54 2020-10-02 03:07:03,716 - INFO - client - 5 - Bitrate: 323 Profile: h264hpl30-dash Size: 0.28 Gb Width: 960 Height: 540 VMAF: 76 2020-10-02 03:07:03,716 - INFO - client - 6 - Bitrate: 380 Profile: h264mpl30-dash Size: 0.33 Gb Width: 682 Height: 384 VMAF: 68 2020-10-02 03:07:03,716 - INFO - client - 7 - Bitrate: 495 Profile: h264hpl31-dash Size: 0.43 Gb Width: 1280 Height: 720 VMAF: 83 2020-10-02 03:07:03,717 - INFO - client - 8 - Bitrate: 620 Profile: h264mpl30-dash Size: 0.54 Gb Width: 853 Height: 480 VMAF: 78 2020-10-02 03:07:03,717 - INFO - client - 9 - Bitrate: 753 Profile: h264hpl31-dash Size: 0.65 Gb Width: 1280 Height: 720 VMAF: 88 2020-10-02 03:07:03,717 - INFO - client - 10 - Bitrate: 910 Profile: h264mpl30-dash Size: 0.78 Gb Width: 853 Height: 480 VMAF: 81 2020-10-02 03:07:03,717 - INFO - client - 11 - Bitrate: 1330 Profile: h264mpl31-dash Size: 1.14 Gb Width: 1280 Height: 720 VMAF: 89 2020-10-02 03:07:03,718 - INFO - client - 12 - Bitrate: 1436 Profile: h264hpl40-dash Size: 1.24 Gb Width: 1920 Height: 1080 VMAF: 93 2020-10-02 03:07:03,719 - INFO - client - 13 - Bitrate: 1960 Profile: h264mpl31-dash Size: 1.68 Gb Width: 1280 Height: 720 VMAF: 91 2020-10-02 03:07:03,721 - INFO - client - 14 - Bitrate: 2535 Profile: h264hpl40-dash Size: 2.18 Gb Width: 1920 Height: 1080 VMAF: 96 2020-10-02 03:07:03,723 - INFO - client - 15 - Bitrate: 3650 Profile: h264mpl40-dash Size: 3.13 Gb Width: 1920 Height: 1080 VMAF: 95 2020-10-02 03:07:03,731 - INFO - client - 16 - Bitrate: 5360 Profile: h264mpl40-dash Size: 4.60 Gb Width: 1920 Height: 1080 VMAF: 96 Video ID : 1 Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Format profile : High@L4 Format settings : CABAC / 4 Ref Frames Format settings, CABAC : Yes Format settings, Reference frames : 4 frames Codec ID : avc1 Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video Coding Duration : 2 h 3 min Bit rate mode : Variable Bit rate : 2 509 kb/s Maximum bit rate : 20.0 Mb/s Width : 1 920 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Constant Frame rate : 24.000 FPS Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 Bit depth : 8 bits Scan type : Progressive Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.050 Stream size : 2.17 GiB (93%) Writing library : x264 core 148 r2721 6d200cf Encoding settings : cabac=1 / ref=4 / deblock=1:0:0 / analyse=0x3:0x111 / me=umh / subme=10 / psy=1 / psy_rd=1.00:0.00 / mixed_ref=1 / me_range=120 / chroma_me=1 / trellis=2 / 8x8dct=1 / cqm=0 / deadzone=21,11 / fast_pskip=1 / chroma_qp_offset=-2 / threads=8 / lookahead_threads=2 / sliced_threads=0 / nr=0 / decimate=1 / interlaced=0 / bluray_compat=0 / stitchable=1 / constrained_intra=0 / bframes=16 / b_pyramid=2 / b_adapt=2 / b_bias=0 / direct=3 / weightb=1 / open_gop=0 / weightp=2 / keyint=240 / keyint_min=121 / scenecut=0 / intra_refresh=0 / rc_lookahead=240 / rc=crf / mbtree=1 / crf=21.0 / qcomp=0.50 / qpmin=6 / qpmax=51 / qpstep=4 / vbv_maxrate=20000 / vbv_bufsize=25000 / crf_max=0.0 / nal_hrd=vbr / filler=0 / ip_ratio=1.40 / aq=1:0.80 Encoded date : UTC 2020-10-02 02:50:51 Tagged date : UTC 2020-10-02 02:50:51 Codec configuration box : avcC
Would be actually nice,if one could choose eg. the 2nd best bitrate for 1080p resolution (amazon prime) since it now only downloads the best 1080p version, and the files end up around 4gb for one hour documentary, now i have to manually re-encode the stuff to a bit lower bitrate at 1080p for my own archives.
Other good example when bitrate info would come in handy is Amazon VBR vs CBR - one can determine without downloading which of them should have better quality.
