Feature Request: Save/Load Download Queue

Has there already been a feature request to save/load the download queue, either automatically upon exit or to a file-based format? Thanks.

It has. They wanted to have this when the queue was first introduced, but they say it's much more difficult to add than we may think. . .they know it's a big request (they want it to), but said not to expect it for a few releases because, again - it's not easy to do.
