Hi AS+ is working great, please extend my appreciation to the developers.

This one is a Feature Request on a Feature Request for poster downloads (79315). I have seen that the summary/synopsis for the media is being added as metadata to the video file, but if the developers are interested in pulling the movie/episode's poster down, it would be slick to see that embedded as "Cover Art" metadata too.

I still would like to see the poster downloads for the movie series and the episodes as a separate file.

as a separate file
Yes, maybe they can just do it like with subs, where you can choose if you want to merge the subs or not.
You already can download the covers by yourself by opening it in a browser and right click on the image, although that does not make much sense if you download many seasons. But it might be a solution for the movies and things you like the most.

Yes, a lot of manual step though, seems like fairly low hanging fruit, the download window for selection (movies, or a list of episodes) already isolates those objects (poster and synopsis) - only the synopsis is currently added as comment metadata.

There should already be a rough prototype in the application.

That will not happen for a while. Just enjoy the program. Thank you for the input.;)

Totally going to echo this request! It would be lovely.

Alternately, this is the type of thing that would be easy for users to add themselves if AnyStream allowed users to specify some type of post-download script!
