While I understand the reason for instituting download limits, I only partially support the move. Nevertheless, since it’s being enforced it might be a good idea to have an easily accessible counter that can inform the user of just how many downloads they are able to make within the given time period (week).

As mentioned in a previous thread, an indication of available downloads is a good idea.

But there is no actual time limit, other than how long it takes to do the downloads.

You can use your download tokens - whenever.


In the explanation of the download token policy, it mentions allowing 280 downloads per week, but that's just an indication of how many tokens you can accumulate in a week's time at one every 36 minutes.

Pure math, no enforced time limit.

You could also say you can accumulate and use (24 hours = 1440 minutes / 36 minutes to generate a new token equals...) 40 tokens a day.
