Docker regarding AS have just been asked in one thread but no request was made so that I'm doing it now:
https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/prepurchase-questions.79268/#post-523510

I'd like very much to run AS inside a Docker on my NAS. This way I wouldn't need to install a Windows 10 VM to run it, which would run extremely slowly on my NAS anyways (Qnap 453A). Basically all modern Qnap and Intel NAS devices with an x86 CPU support Docker (its supported on ARM as well but that would mean significantly more work for you). Since its a very lightweight type of virtualisation it would run even on the lowest end x86 NAS devices (in contrast to a W10 VM).
Since my NAS runs 24/7 anyway and AS has a speed limit it would be far more convenient to let the NAS download than keep my laptop powered for downloading.

I know that you just begun developing AS and I'm just hoping that you would consider a Docker version at some point in the future.

This is not likely to be possible until a linux version is made available at some point in the future. And even then it might not be possible to do in a docker image. @Prospere thoughts?

I'd prefer not to seed false hopes here. Although, it sounds like an interesting project, I doubt it would be possible in the foreseeable future.

I found this, which makes it sound relatively easy to make a Docker from a windows application. However, I’m not a developer myself so I’m not entitle sure.
Might be helpful for you:

There is an unoffical Docker version :)

Havent tested yet.
