hi!

Just found about that ReClock and PAL Speedup stuff.

Is there any FAQ or How to about how to get started with ReClock.

With what programs does Reclock work?
Does is work with WinDVD BD 8?

What do I need for Reclock to get working?

Thank you!

FWIW, simple quickstart (probably inaccurate):

- install latest reclock
- set video player to output analogue, multi channel sound
(in powerdvd, this is '?? speakers')
- in reclock tell it your source video is '23.976' (or whatever it really is) and in your case set the video output to '25hz'
- if you need to output ac3 to your receiver, set reclock option 'use ac3 encoder

On reclock's other tabs, you can set some preferences, depending on your setup and which renderer/player you're using, and which programs should reclock be used with.

I've never tried to speed up to 25hz (24hz tv), but I have done the pal speeddown option a few times to watch pal, and it really helped.

keep reading the forum ;)
