When I use the basic clone DVD I get extra title on the burned dvd
I tried selecting only one title but it still came out that way.

Why do dvd's have multiple things in the info section like

title 1 9:56
audi0 whatever

title 1 9:56
audio whatever

title 1:00

Title 1:00

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. When you remove titles from a backup the title will still exist but not contain anything since it essentially gets blanked.

Refer to the image below. The titles within the red were titles that I removed when I made my backup. The longest is all of 3 seconds in length and is blank. This can add up to saving of space on a backup which also means less quality is lost when transcoding from a DL original to an SL backup. I added the red borders with a graphics editor.
