tried installation, I detect a wh14ns40 as a drive, it does not flash and it does not detect any DVD or Bluray disc. suspected possible mechanical failure

ok, but there is another problem: my BU40N is an usb-device (Techpulse120), I can boot from the usb-stick, but I do not find a possibility to adress the usb-device over usb

The Devilsclaw's method requires Windows and the Command prompt (inside Windows), it's not a difficult task.

But with Devilsclaw there are several error messages und no firmware.bin is build:

I really need a BU40N/BU50N firmware dump for advanced testing and future purposes. (I've found a way for converting a UHD friendly drive into a UHD real and vice versa).

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with devilclaw's flasher.

Dosflash does'nt recognize the flash chip from my 16NS55 Drive (Unknown Flash Chip). Can't dump the Firmware. Any Ideas?

you might have to run dosflash 2-3-4-5 times before it finds the chip
