drive not ready

I just installed ANYDVD. When I attempt to rip it to my hard drive. I get an error message that says

J drive not ready.

I have checked the settings and my my drive is listed and highlighted there.

yes i rebooted right away

This is becoming an epidemic. I do not have a clue as to what might be causing it.

MY drives still function normally on regular applications. I can view dvds and run my video games. I just have the problem with ripping to hard drive with anydvd

what is J drive on your pc?
have you got enough space on your HDD to rip a dvd to?

my j drive is my dvd burner. I am now able to rip dvds. The problem i am having now is it will only save the trailer and some times i will get a menu from a movie to my harddrive. I have plenty of room on my c drive to handle this and much more
