I bought GJ when it was still owned by the other company, and it doesn't seem to be able to do a thing with DVD-rom games. Your Product description for GJ doesn't say anything about DVDs either. I also looked through the reported games that don't work and it looked like half of them were DVD-rom games. I would install the demo myself, but I'm afraid it might mess with the version I have.
And if GJ cannot currently support DVD-rom games, is it planned to be added in the future?

GJ does support dvd-rom games. GJ does not currently support Tages and Starforce protections
