Do non-international visa gift cards work?

Asked for one for christmas and noone I know can find international ones anymore. No banks seem to carry them and all the ones in stores say only US........

No, us only means us only. Think some said they found some at gas stations. Or you could go the Bitcoin route.

Can you use a visa gift card for the bitcoins? Cause noone I know is going to go through all that crap but they'll buy me a gift card for christmas. Is there a guide somewhere with an easy way to get them from the US I see the other guide isn't good anymore. Gotta say this is a real pain in the ass for us Mastercard users.........

If you can find a us bitcoin vendor that takes domestic Visa, then yes. Circle use to be just and and there was a guide for it on these forums, they recently dropped out of the Bitcoin wallets market.

That bitcoin stuff looks really weird and complicated to me so I guess I'll see if they get lucky and find an international card or just wait and hope this site someday takes Mastercard.

Anyone know if these Visa TravelMoney things work for this? Sounds like they are sorta like debit cards or something you can get from banks now for international use.

Turns out no banks in my small town sell the travelmoney cards so I'll have to wait for the next sale and hope better paying options open up by then. Thanks for the help anyways and happy holidays

That would be awesome and I'll definitely take you up on that if my last ditch effort doesn't work tomorrow. My brother actually just told me that AAA sells those Visa Travel Money cards so I'm going to call the office near me and see if they have them in the morning. Hopefully that works out.
