I've been burning dual layered backups for about 6 months now (successfully) with clonedvd. After the latest upgrade of anaydvd, I am unable to do so now. Clonedvd shows the progress percentage of the dl disc being burned like usual and when its done, you can actually see that something has been burned to the disc. But when I put the disc back in, my system says its a blank disc. I hope I made this clear enough.....can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help because these dl disc are a little too costly to keep wasting.....thanks!!!!

I tried that too. But I am still having the same problem and its only with dual layered, singles burn fine.....:(

1. Visit your burner's website, and update your burner's firmware if possible.
If you don't know how to go about doing this, visit http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=12794&postcount=10

2. For "+R, +RW, +R DL" blank media, change the booktype of the blank media you're using to "dvd-rom", if your burner supports bitsetting changes. This step improves the chances of playability in/compatibility with (standalone, mostly) dvd players. The best way to do this is through the software that came with your burner (if possible).

3. Select "dvd+/-r dl" near the quality bar in Clonedvd2.

4. Try a 4x burn speed (if possible)

5. Click this

Do what it says to do.

6. visit http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=21907&postcount=11 (thanks to Zebadee)
Use one of the programs mentioned, and list your Lowerfilters and Upperfilters in your next post.

Or for XP users only,
Click Start, Run
type regedit
Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Current Control Set\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

We want what's listed in "LowerFilters" and "UpperFilters". List your Lowerfilters and Upperfilters in your next post.

Before you do this visit http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/about4719.html, and read the first post please, so you can get a better understanding of what is going on.
