• AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.
Situations like this will always happen with AnyStream: streaming providers are continuously improving their countermeasures while we try to catch up, it's an ongoing cat-and-mouse game. Many BD's don't flag their forced sub streams as "forced" and as a result non-licensed players currently can not automatically identify these tracks.

Would it be possible for AnyDVD HD to identify these tracks during scanning and if so could the details be saved in the disc.inf file as is currently done for "good" playlists.

This would then allow such players to use this info to select the correct sub track as progs like JR Media Center currently does with the playlist info.

Thanks
Nathan

That might be kind of hard to do since the Blu-ray player itself can't see the difference between an 'English' stream and an 'English forced' stream. The forced stream are almost never truly forced, they are just turned on via programming when you select certain audio streams (if a stream is truly forced, then it's impossible to completely turn off the subtitles, even with the player remote)... All AnyDVD sees is two subtitle streams with the same language... It can't determine if the 2nd one is an SDH track, forced track, subtitles for a commentary, etc...

Just thinking from the point of view of the player... I guess you never know what Slysoft might be able to come up... :D
