Defrag drive before burning???

Would it be advisable to defragment your hard drive before burning your dvd,seeing as windows dumps files anywhere on you hard drive.Maybe improve burning performance and reduce possible errors??.

P.S Why i own Anydvd (paid for that is)

Bought Pepper Pig Christmas Special from Play.com for my 4 year old daughter.Backed it up straight away with Anydvd.Two days later my 1 year old daughter went through the cupboards as kids do,and sunk here teeth into the original disc.Now a coaster.Thankyou Slysoft.:clap:

Defragging a HDD never "hurts" but I doubt that you will see any gain in performance or quality by doing so. I defrag my HDD's and Registry about once a week.....prior to making a backup image.
