Defective Monitor?

Just got a new Samsung Odyssey G7.
Unpacked it, set it up, turned on...
The display only shows fullscreen colors red, green, blue, black, white changing every second.
Only power connected, no other cables attached.
Anybody experienced that before?
Is there anything I can do or should I send it back immediately.

I read something about diagnostic mode, but not how to disable it...

Send it back ASAP, even if you have a workaround, it should work out of the box.

Yeah, thought so.
Usually I'm lucky and my ordered hardware just works, but well ... guess I'm not immune to failures

And while searching around, I found the same Screen directly from the Samsung shop for even 10% less than I paid ... because of the corporate benefits program my company participates in
